In accordance with our Ethical Code and applicable legislation, we have established a safe and confidential channel for reporting potential violations – our internal reporting system.

This system allows you, whether you are our employee, client, user of the AreteApp platform, or another partner, to report actions that could harm our company, its employees, customers, business partners, or the public interest. We appreciate your courage and willingness to contribute to maintaining high ethical standards.

You can report any suspicion of unlawful behavior that you have learned about in connection with your work, business cooperation, use of our services (including the AreteApp platform), or other contact with Umarutti s.r.o., which:

• Exhibits characteristics of a criminal offense (e.g., theft, fraud, corruption).
• Exhibits characteristics of an offense with a maximum fine of at least 100,000 CZK.
• Violates the Whistleblower Protection Act.
• Violates other legal regulations or EU regulations in areas such as:
  • Financial services and prevention of money laundering (AML).
  • Consumer protection.
  • Product safety.
  • Environmental protection.
  • Public procurement.
  • Data protection (GDPR).
  • Competition protection.
• Violates our Ethical Code (e.g., discrimination, harassment, conflict of interest, unethical resource acquisition).

You can submit a report anonymously or provide your contact details. We will treat all information with the utmost confidentiality.

To enable us to investigate your report effectively, please provide as much relevant information as possible:

• A detailed description of the conduct you are reporting
• When and where the conduct occurred
• Who was involved (if known)
• Any evidence or documentation you have
• Names of any witnesses (if relevant)

Note: Even if you do not have all of this information, please submit your report. We will work with the information you provide.

Umarutti s.r.o. is committed to protecting all whistleblowers who submit reports in good faith from any retaliatory actions (e.g., dismissal, salary reduction, reassignment, harassment). Any retaliation is strictly prohibited and will be penalized.

Your identity (if provided) and the content of the report will be protected to the maximum extent possible. Access to the reports is limited to the Relevant Person, who is bound by confidentiality. Information about your identity will not be provided to third parties without your explicit written consent, unless required by law.

Please note that protection does not apply to individuals who knowingly submit false reports. Such conduct may be considered an offense.

Acknowledgment: Within 7 days of receiving your report, we will confirm its receipt (unless you have stated that you do not wish to be notified, or if this would compromise your identity).

Investigation: The Relevant Person will assess whether your report is valid. During this process, they may request additional information from you.

Outcome: No later than 30 days from the receipt of the report, we will notify you in writing of the outcome of the assessment. In complex cases, this deadline may be extended by up to 60 days (twice by 30 days), of which you will be informed.
